【The Pineapple Thief / パイナップル・シーフ】
The Pineapple Thiefは1999年にBruce Soordが英サマセットでスタートしたプログレッシヴ・ロック・バンドだ。1999年、デビュー・アルバム『Abducting the Unicorn』をCyclops Recordsよりリリース。『137』（2002年）、『Variations on a Dream』（2003年）、『10 Stories Down』（2005年）、『Little Man』（2006年）、『What We Have Sown』（2007年）とリリースを続け、Kscopeと契約。『Tightly Unwound』（2008年）、『Someone Here Is Missing』（2010年）、『All the Wars』（2012年）とリリースし、2014年の10枚目のアルバム『Magnolia』からチャート的な成功もおさめるようになった。その後、ドラムとしてGavin Harrison（Porcupine Tree、King Crimson）が加入し、2016年には『Your Wilderness』、2018年には『Dissolution』をリリース。目下の最新作である『Dissolution』は英ロック/メタル・チャートの1位、英アルバム・チャートの36位を記録した。
