20年近いキャリアを誇るロサンジェルスのパンク・バンド、The Bronxは2020年8月27日、Cooking Vinylよりアルバム『Bronx VI』をリリースする。『Bronx VI』はJoe Baressi（Tool、Melvins、Bad Religion）のプロデュースで、カリフォルニア州パサデナにある彼のスタジオ、House of Compressionでレコーディングされた。「僕たちは2005年から一緒にレコードを作ることについて話していた。僕らは曲を次のレベルに引き上げてくれる人を必要としていて、それがJoeだった」とバンドは語る。2002 年に結成されたThe Bronxは、翌年にセルフ・タイトルのデビュー・アルバムをリリース。そのキャリアの中で、The Bronx として5 枚のオリジナル・アルバム、別名のMariachi El Bronx名義で3枚のアルバムをリリースした。現在のメンバーはMatt Caughthran（Vo）、Joby J. Ford（G）、Ken Horne（G）、Brad Magers（B）、Joey Castillo（Dr）の5人。
